Subject	Need a little help with A/C

Message	My A/C Compressor comes on when the Auto button is pushed, and turns very regularly, but for some reason, i hear a hissing noise in the vents and the air coming through never really cools down. Can someone give me some suggestions as to what is causing this? It's my understanding that the clutch is deactivated only when there is only enough pressure (refrigerant), so i dont think that this is the case? I have 90 Fairlady Z TT Auto Thank you Ray
